My family was visiting several locations in Europe, and hiring TMC was one of the best decisions we made. From help with planning, reservations, obtaining ski passes & equipment, we spent less time coordinating and more time having an incredible, adventure-filled, and relaxing holiday. During our one week stay, we were able to secure a chalet, catering, ski plans, and restaurant reservations for the entire duration with the help of TMC. The planning and organization was the highest-value aspect of our trip. When you're investing in a luxury vacation, you don't want to spend your vacation planning your vacation, and we certainly did not! From the moment we got off the train (The Glacier Express was gorgeous!), TMC was there to greet us, help with the logistics of our bags to the chalet, and were there every step of the week until they dropped us off at our private transfer to Zurich. Jacob specifically really knows his stuff, is familiar with the locals and establishments in Zermatt, and certainly got us access to things we wouldn't have known about if we didn't hire TMC.
I was really impressed how Jacob was able to curate several ski days for our group. We had two people who were more advanced, and two beginners. He ensured we spent the mornings together, had lunch spots reserved (and adjusted when we were too slow 🫣), and then we were able to go our separate ways with guidance and everyone was able to enjoy the day. I was thrilled on my ski last day when I was testing short skis in the training area, Jacob encouraged me to take a real run, with my family, which was a memory I'll always cherish. While we ski often in the United States, we all agree that Zermatt would have been very challenging and frustrating without TMC ski guide. Thank you Jacob!
We really loved the location of our chalet in regards to its proximity to the ski lifts and also the village. My favorite spot was on the deck (in the hot tub) warming up after a long ski or shopping day. We also included catering with our chalet and that was a favorite of everyone in my family. We became fast friends with the chalet team and their culinary skills are unmatched. We were able to curate every meal ahead of time, with some surprises thrown in! I'm still dreaming about Swiss white wine! The food was fresh, healthy, and filling. TMC recommended we take the train to the Gornergrat, and that was a really beautiful experience/perfect for pictures with the whole family. An all-ages activity, great for those of us who didn't ski. We also attended a New Years Eve party and were partying with the locals; it was so fun. Overall, Zermatt now has my heart, all because of TMC.
