Exceptional Christmas Adventure with The Mountain Company
Our Christmas trip to Zermatt was nothing short of magical! The village is like a fairytale, we were lucky to have a week straight of bluebird days for the full impact of the views of the Swiss Alps and loved the added bonus of skiing to Italy, dining on the hill or in the village was always an experience in itself. We would highly recommend the services of the Mountain Company because they are a bespoke and small operation, you have so much flexibility to receive a tailor made experience, whilst leveraging off their significant Zermatt knowledge and relationships with local operators. As such, the offering by the Mountain Company is truly unique. A once in a lifetime experience! Truly a 100/10 experience.
Jacob did an exceptional job with our trip coordination and handled everything including rail passes, lift tickets, rentals, dining reservations to great places (so thankful during the Christmas week) as well as guiding. He was happy to answer ALL my questions and walk me through even when I was a bit indecisive. He took the stress right out of trying to put it all together!
We were thrilled to have Matt to guide us for 4 days given the size and logistics of the mountain, he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area. Getting us to the right places given the time of day, lift lines, lunch spots and taking us to places to get the best views not to mention the skiing tips and techniques he gave all of us! As a family of 4 we had the best time and great conversations with him. He was engaged with every one of us and we were certainly disappointed when our 4 days were up and we hadn't booked any more days!
I would recommend The Mountain Company to anyone planning a trip to Zermatt whether it is your first time or your fifth time as they went above and beyond to make sure the trip was memorable for us.
